I co-founded the Ridgewood Asian-American Pacific Islander Alliance and am an elected member of the Ridgewood Board of Education, New Jersey. I helped guide the District as President during COVID. I immigrated to the United States at age ten and have proudly called New Jersey home. After my corporate career that spanned management consulting, media, and research at an investment bank, I focus now on public service while managing family investments. I earned a BA degree with Honors from Brown University and an MBA from Wharton School of Business. I am a global ambassador of Pembroke College, Oxford University, where I represent Brown University.

Vinit Parmar

Director/Sound/Editor
I am a documentary filmmaker who fights for the underdog by telling their stories. I have covered the challenges of impoverished Indian villagers searching for renewable solutions to save their island, a Chinese migrant family reconnecting with three displaced children under the One-Child Policy, or children of war seeking refuge in Berlin and finding a home with a pseudo-mother at their German shelter. I left a career as a lawyer in New York State to teach filmmaking.

Juan Sebastian Rodriguez

Motion Design
As a designer who enjoys solving business problems with motion and visual design, I've spent over 13 years developing engaging and award-winning products for a variety of industries. Such experiences have allowed me to think about how to maximize impact with knowledge. I enjoy spending time with my dogs, am a philosophy enthusiast, and teach at universities in Colombia. My compass has been on serving people with the guidance I never had, learning and sharing knowledge with people who are discovering their journey as well.
